Hope & Justice for Jayden

Donation protected

Aloha Family and Friends,

The Justice for Jayden campaign was started  to show our love and support for baby Jayden-James Ikaika Kana'i Lee and to let Josh, Grammy Cory, Papa JJ and Auntie Cierra know that we are here to help.

Most of you know of the situation Jayden is facing right now.  For those who are not aware, Jayden is a victim of physical child abuse.  His injuries are horrific, heart breaking and life threatening. He stopped breathing on two occasions and his case is one of the more severe cases of child abuse in  Missouri. Josh and his mom found out about Jayden's status in a terrible way - social media. They immediately caught the next plane out  from Honolulu, Hawaii to Kansas City, Missouri on Saturday, October 11, 2014 to be with Jayden in the ICU and have not left his bedside since.

Jayden is stable for now.  MRIs show a severe brain bleed with damage that has caused seizures and right sided paresis that may have life long consequences.  X-rays show a left elbow fracture and  multiple fractures to both of his legs reflecting multiple injuries with various healing stages.

Jayden recently stayed the summer on island with Josh and the family.  At the end of August, Grammy flew with Jayden to bring him back to Missouri. During the time Jayden was away, Josh was not being told the truth about his whereabouts or health status.  The family's amazing legal team here in Hawaii has been making every effort to help them bring little Jayden home.

On October 30, 2014, Jayden will turn 17 months old. He is so full of life.  His smile is infectious and will brighten your day.  He is his daddy's twin.  He loves to be hugged and he just loves to be loved.

Josh updated us that Jayden smiled recently, and while feeding him, Jayden was asking for "More", saying "Ball" and he especially recognized his Grammy. Jayden is strong and  he is a fighter!

We can only imagine what Josh and his mom are going through with Jayden. Being they are so far away, this page was created so family and friends could have a means to help. It's a perfect way to use one resource for such a huge support system. Though we can't take away the emotional pains they are going through, we can lighten the financial burden, as it's beyond costly now and will only continue to grow.  Every bit helps and is appreciated more than you will ever know.

Josh and the family has felt all the love pouring in for Jayden. They are overwhelmed with all the support received and wishes they could respond to each and every one personally. We will update everyone with Jayden's status as much as we can via this page.

Mana'o I'o (mon-uh-oh-ee-oh) is the Hawaiian Definition to: "Believe in Faith." Jayden's middle name alone, "Ikaika" stands for STRONG. Jayden STRONG is what he needs us to be for him.  Justice for Jayden will prevail.

We are calling upon our prayer warriors to continue to keep Jayden lifted in your thoughts and pray for his healing so that he can come home to Hawaii where he is SAFE and  LOVED.
