Justice For Rashauna

Donation protected
First off, I want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love, and support, to family during this difficult time. My twin sister Rashauna was a beacon of light in this world, a gift from God. She truly touched the heart of anyone she came in contact with. As most of you know my sister was taken away from us by a lost soul who murdered her in cold blood. This senseless act of violence took place on March 17, 2018, from this point on, my life will never be the same. However, my life is that much better, having been blessed to have Rashauna as my twin sister. We are also so blessed because she created her very own mini me, her daughter, Jazza-Rae Racquel Destinee Curne. Yes, my sister was so amazing she even gave my niece my name as a middle name. Just speaks volumes of the bond we had.  My mother Dianne Yarborough unfortunately has to bury one of her three beautiful daughters, my father Forest Perkins another child... and our little sister Ryanne Yarborough is without her big sister... as well as Starrla, Ashley and Amber. My sister's daughter, whom she loved dearly has lost her mother, at an age no one should have to endure. My sister was a mentor, confidant, great friend, mother, sister, daughter, activist, spiritual advisor... and most of all a Poet amongst many other things. One of the things that is keeping me going strong is the fact that we had an incredible bond, she knew how talented I thought she was, and how much I believed in her, and loved her. Just a week before her untimely death we had an epiphany of what we would do to work together in the future. We hatched the idea of a non-profit organization for uplifting people to their true gifts in life, and helping them get there. Rashauna was so excited, as was I, we were supposed to be getting together the following week to brain storm ideas... but... she didn't make it to the following week. My sister was also actively working on her poetry book she was to have published, she has loads of journals full of poems. These poems were her life's work, and the message her soul was here on Earth to convey and teach us all. There is so much to be done in Rashauna's legacy, much to be done for her 17 year old daughter who will be headed to college soon. Many of you have asked where you can send money to help and urged me to start a Go Fund me... so here it is. I did not have an end Goal amount because it is not about that. I just know that so many people loved my sister and believed in her art, loved her daughter, and want to help the family in general.  Whatever you donate will be used for a memorial for my sister, helping her daughter in her next phase of life... and best of all producing my sister's life work in the manner she would have done herself. You will be apart of a legacy of a talented artist/poet/philosopher whose words will change the World. ~Thank you R.D.Y. #JusticeForRashauna #TwinPower
