Justice for Orsy

Orsy Elena Bojorquez was a 55 year old, single mother of 3, whose whole life was her children and God. She was born in Santa Ana, El Salvador being the 11th out of 13 children. From a close knit family who came to the US to succeed through hard work. She was the only support of her children growing up, including her son who is now 21 and a college student, thanks to her. She worked as a Home Care Giver for elders on IHSS social services care and it was there, at one of the homes, that she found her death. In the previous weeks she had reported the abuse of the elder she took care of, from verbal to actual physical abuse. It escalated to him trying to sexually abuse her. Her family told her to leave the job, to not feel sorry for him and to report it again. She let her son and sisters know that she reported. Nothing was done and we believe the day she told the elder she was no longer coming, as she exited the apartment he cowardly killed her. He was last seen outside the building at 3pm, around the time she was due to leave. Then killed himself, leaving a family and her children distraught and heart broken. She did not come home the night of August 9th and was reported missing to the police, being that she never slept away from home. By morning her daughter, with her best friend, set out to look for her at the other home she worked for. It was this other elder that took them to the building where she was to be the day before. With no warrant, at 11am the police could only knock on the door but could not go in even though music was blasting inside. Rampart police left the building and it was the daughter who convinced the manager to open the door. Her best friend kept her outside as she discovered the bodies long dead. Rampart police was then called back to the premises where on August 10th at 8pm the bodies are still laying inside, waiting for more warrants and the coroner. A neigbor has come to us to inform that the previous care taker that man had, left due to his abuse and mental problems and that she had reported it to his case worker. We want a full investigation, was Orsy sent to find her death in this evil man’s hands? Please help us pass her story, so maybe other lives are saved and help us give a peaceful burial full of love to a woman who loved humans and God above all, even at her death.
