Justice for Biz

At approximately 9:30 pm on 09/14/2021, Deputies with the Owen County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Texas Pike near Manhattan Road in reference to a person lying in the road. The person was 26 year-old Elizabeth Rachelle Stevens (Biz to family and friends). Biz's death has been ruled a homicide and there is an ongoing investigation. Her murderer has not yet been apprehended.
Biz left behind a beautiful 5 month-old daughter, Mia, that is in the care of her grandparents.
We as Biz's family, friends and community want to come together to best support her daughter, mother, and other immediate family in any way we can. We know in the days ahead there will be expenses such as funeral costs and life expenses that no one could have foreseen. All funds will go directly to Biz's mother, Julie, to take care of those expenses and if there are any remaining funds those will be directed toward caring for 5 month-old Mia. Please remember, even the tiniest bit helps. Whatever anyone may be able to spare will help tremendously at this point.
