Justice for Baby Nolan

Donation protected

If you have ever felt that you wanted to help a family in need before, please read this heart-wrenching story that has truly impacted our family along with so many other people in our community and local area. They are a humble, loving, hard-working family and we insisted that they let us set up this page so that we could hopefully try to get some relief for them, please read on…..

Please help baby Nolan and his parents! We have known Tiffini since she was a young grade school girl (here, in Southern Florida) and we have watched her grow up into a wonderful woman and mother. We need to get her and Jake’s story out as far reaching as we can and ask for help and prayers.

This is not just a family who has suffered behind the tragedy of someone’s mistreatment of their baby while in their care, but also the devastation of the financial impact. It was sad to hear them tell us of the recurring co-pays from medical appointments, the gas, tolls, frequent parking expenses, the traveling to and from the numerous doctors and hospitals, the lost wages from their jobs, many times a quick food item purchase from a convenience store because time would not allow meal prep or a sit-down dinner at home, and the list goes on and on. We have been touched by the resilience of this family and hope you will read this, help if you can, but share this on your page. We are hoping to show this family how much goodness and support is here for them, maybe a philanthropist will select them and be their saving grace. We have heard of that happening before, and no family would be more deserving than baby Nolan and his family. We NEED justice for this family!

These are Tiffini’s words:

“October 24th, 2022, our son was non-responsive and rushed to the ER. Jake and I found out that he had a massive brain bleed and multiple skull fractures, along with large hemorrhages in his eyes. The cause: SHAKEN BABY SYNDROME and non-accidental trauma. SOMEONE abused our son!

The Department of Children and Families (DCF) took our son away and Nolan was left in the PICU for 36 hours by himself, with no family, at just 4 months old. We spent 12 long days at the hospital. We have dealt with the worst things we could have ever imagined.

It has now been just over 3 months and justice has yet to be served. In these three months, our son has been through hell. Countless therapy sessions, physical therapy sessions, CT scans, eye appointments, neurology appointments and the appointments will likely continue for a long while. Our son has had to learn to sleep sitting up in order to help the blood drain from his eyes, he has to wear eye patches, and his weekly physical therapy appointments are just to help him try to catch up to his standard infant milestones. Nolan just had brain surgery to drain the blood from the right side of his head due to the trauma of being shaken.

Nolan has to grow up with a large 4-inch scar on his head and two smaller holes on the back of his head. We have to have MRIs done frequently in order to make sure that his head is remaining drained of the fluid buildup. Then if fluid is found, schedule a procedure to have it drained, again! The eye doctors have said that he has vision issues from the blood in his eyes which may not resolve themselves. We are not certain if our 7-month-old baby will have to have eye surgery.

We cannot get justice for our son, against the offenders, because we do not have the money to keep hiring attorneys who can fight this criminal case on our behalf. We continue to beg the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) to pursue this investigation and have these people held accountable and prosecuted. We cannot divulge the name of the offenders until criminal charges are filed, then it will be public information. We continue to pray in the meantime that this does not happen to another baby and family!

We look at our beautiful baby boy every day and wonder if his head looks ok, if there is a new malformation, a new pocket of fluid forming, if he is going to be okay if he coughs or sneezes or giggles. These are not the normal concerns for any parents of an infant! We cannot let him try to sit on his own in fear of him falling and hurting himself and causing more damage. There is no such thing as a visit to the beach, splashing in a pool, or even sitting in his bouncy seat. Nolan cannot be a normal baby and achieve the milestones which every parent looks forward to! We worry everyday about our child’s wellbeing and growth. We do not know yet if his speech has or will be affected. We are drained mentally and physically, now unfortunately, financially too.”

This is where YOU come in…any little bit will help with their daily life expenses, the gas to get to and from the doctor appointments, the co-pays for the numerous doctor and specialists’ appointments, the eating on-the-go, bills, and most importantly, the ability to hire a good attorney or attorneys. If I was an attorney, (which I am not) I would take this case pro-bono, if anyone knows an attorney or an attorney office who can help, please send their information to us. Due to amount of time they need to spend in the hospital and at home with Nolan, Tiffini and Jake have depleted their savings, and are heavily in debt. We will help Tiffini and Jake as much as we can, we are passionate to see this made right!

The money donated will help Tiffini and Jake FIGHT for Nolan. Attorney fees, in the future, are going to be astronomical!

Please SHARE this GoFundMe, even if you are not in the position to donate. Please pray for beautiful BABY NOLAN and his parents. NO parent or child should have to go through this trauma due to the criminal act at the hands of any offender, hands are for hugging and loving not for shaking, hurting, or destroying lives. PLEASE help this beautiful and loving family. And, may God Bless YOU for caring, praying, and/or donating. If you want to mail any gift cards for gas stations, prescriptions, grocery stores, etc. any gesture would be greatly appreciated, just message me for the address if that is your preference. We truly appreciate each person for the prayers, because we have seen the Power of Prayer work in our family with our then 8-year-old niece cancer survivor who is now 19 years old. Thank you for your continued prayers and we will add updates to this page when we get them from Tiffini and Jake. Sincerely, Terese, Ron, Vincent & Victoria
