I'm currently legally considered homeless but I'm currently in a "transitional housing facility". It also happens to be a sober living home. So, I won't be spending any money on alcohol or other 'substances'. What I do have to get while I'm here is food and other essentials. I'm required to pay $60 a week while I'm in the facility. However, I pay for a month at a time, which is preferred. Fortunately, it's a safe location and there's plenty of support where I am finally. For those who know me, they know I'm on disability but it pays very little compared to what normal living expenses are.

Getting ahead in my situation is very difficult. My current plans are to get my health straight which is what I'm working on right now. I just relocated to Pasco County to make a good fresh start. Recently, I did end up hospitalized a few times for health issue problems. That's how bad life ended up for me while being homeless and having a mental illness without proper medication. Fortunately, I'm now on proper medication and I'm in a supportive environment. However, I have some considerable mental and physical scars as a result of my experiences in getting where I am now. Three serious lacerations later and my left arm now tells stories about what I've been through. They're almost credentials for the misery I've been through.

What I'm looking for is just some funds to help get my fresh start rolling. Part of the money will go for a vehicle (a used car or minivan) and some financial buffer so I'm not living from disability payment to payment. I do have plans on getting back to work so I can depend on myself. Right now, I'm still trying to get my health back to normal though.

What I'm lacking is proper transportation among other things. So, I'm trying to save for a used vehicle. That would help me get my fresh start moving.
