Juno's Urgent Healing Fund

Greetings Friends~ For the first time in three years, I created a 'family vacation' for my daughter and I. As a female head of household ('single parent') vacations are far a few in between, however my job as an online intuitive business consultant, coach and performing artist, made it relatively possible us to travel for once. On this particular journey I found myself living in a dream world enjoying the tropical climate, beach beauty, ocean, surf, and everything that comes in between that-- including mosquito bites. I had several mosquito bites on my ankle, foot and lower leg that had difficulty healing. I found myself with a red, swollen shin, scabs, puss and all the gore of an infection. Not just any infection, but a Staph infection requiring just under $1000 out of pocket expenses thus far, just so I could see a doctor and get a prescription written. The Emergency Room, in the developing world, is only available to people holding valid credit cards (let that sink in).

My tropical dream vacation has turned into a nightmare and I need to wake up and live now! These bites led to me contracting an aggressive Staph infection and the Chikungunya virus (similar to dengue fever or zika virus). Staph infections can be life threatening and result in things like aputations or death if the infection is deep. I feel overwhelmed by the possibility of death, especially as a mother, and would like to have the opportunity to return to the states immediately and receive the best medical care that will be covered by my insurance in the states.

This antibiotic resistant Staph, which according to my doctor abroad, believes is accompanied by the Chikungunya Virus, which is similar to Dengue fever or the Zika virus, has left me bed ridden, in pain in my muscles and joints, fever, feeling nauseated, weak, covered in flaky skin and scars in the affected area, severe brain fog, loss of muscle tissue, and in need of immediate return to the U.S. immediately (like today) to recieve emergency care which I cannot receive in this developing Central American country without paying up to $5,000 out of pocket for diagnostic test.

I've already spend close to $700 out of pocket this weekend alone to see a doctor in this tropical, developing country and buy conventional medicines and natural rememedies, but the recommendation is for me to return the U.S. immediately, go to the ER, recieve injections of antibiotics, do lots of blood work and imaging (which will be covered by my insurance - I hope), rest up, eat an extremely healthy organic raw diet and continue to heal day by day.  It's been exhausting trying to figure this out in such a short amount of time, but I am in total surrender mode and give thanks to the Universe for my community who has encouraged me to write this fundraiser.

The funds are needed immediately. The out of pocket cost are growing daily and so are the risk of not knowing the stage of the infection. Luckily, I am taking antibiotics now, but my doctor here recommends getting back to the states as quickly as possible.

The funds will go directly to airfare for me to return to the states immediately.  Other modes of transportation including airport shuttles and taxis. The money will also go toward natural supplements, childcare for my daughter while I go through this healing process and all other healing related purchases.  And most importantly reimbursing me for the random out of pocket expenses of an illness (there are many of us who can't afford to get sick quite literally).

I trust in the power and abundance of the Universe. I hope the solar eclipse blessed us with super natural power to continue to traverse this challenging year of 2017!
