My name is Brock Hoel and I am an 18 year Old from Kelowna British Columbia. I have been racing triathlon since I was 7 years old, and have trained competitively since 2014. I train with a dedicated group of Athletes in Kelowna, under the coaching of Luke Way.
Along with working at the bike shop and Construction to pay for my racing, flights, equipment, and training, I am also a student and train 20-25 hours every week year round. Triathlon is my passion. Despite my incredibly busy and exhausting schedule, I love what I do and have been able to push myself to new heights this last season. Although I have had some success in the past, this season has been a breakthrough for me. After ending last season with a 19th place finish at the Junior World championships, I began training more focused and dedicated than ever. Beginning to reap the rewards of my efforts, I ran my way to victory at the Junior Pan American Championships in Monterrey Mexico this June where I qualified for the World Championships. I then Placed 3 top 5 finishes in consecutive Elite Continental Cup races this last month and was crowned Junior National Champion. With the incredible encouragement I've received from my coach, my teammates and my friends, we've been able to make huge strides this season and I truly believe I have a real shot at standing on the top of the podium at the World Championships next month.
Despite my success this season in races, financially I am stretched to my maximum. If you feel inclined, I would be humbled and extremely grateful to accept your support as I go to the Worlds Largest stage. Thank-You!
