Junior Sustaita-Surviving A Horrible Accident

Most of those that know me have heard this story.  Last year, early on the cold, rainy and foggy Monday morning before Christmas, Junior, Brenda and their precious 4 month old son, Jessiah were traveling on the road back to their home town of Cleburne so that their son, could go to his last pediatrician appointment before they moved his records to the Mont Belvieu area where they had just moved into their first home.   They were in a horrible head on collusion in Hill Texas.  Junior and Brenda lost their son in that accident.  Junior and Brenda were seriously injured and hospitalized.  Brenda had life threatening injuries.  At the time Junior was told that he would not face any charges in this horrible event.  Several months later, the state decided to press Assault With A Deadly Weapon charges against Junior.  They offered him 10 years in prison as a "deal".

This is a good kid.  There were no drugs or alcohol involved at all.  Junior went to pass a truck and trailer and went head into a truck.  The other driver was injured, but Junior and his family faced the most serious harm.  Their precious baby boy was gone.  Over the months, Junior and Brenda have parted, but as friends, but the district attorney had stated that he will only settle for 10 years of prison time for Junior.  I believe this is an atrocity.  Junior has not been able to work, he does not have anything like the funds needed to fight this unjust charge and needs our help.

This money will go to help Junior in his fight.  We were able to finally get a pro-bono attorney after Junior's Mom had spent over $10,000 that she did not have in attorney fees and bond money.

Any contribution that is given will go directly to Junior and his family to fight for a fair treatment of this young man.  No one will able to put Junior in a worse prison than the one he has put himself in.
