Junior Group National Team USA Gymnastics

Donation protected
We are proud to be representing the USA at the First Junior World Championships for Rhythmic Gymnastics in Moscow 7/19/19 to 7/21/19!
With this honor comes a lot of expenses.
We leave Sunday 7/14 - just 3 days away!

WE ARE FULLY SELF FUNDED
(the individual gymnasts are receiving funding for this competition but we are not)

We are 5 girls from Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and Boston making up the Junior Group National Team and have been working together for the last year, competing internationally in the hope to be selected to represent the USA.  We are so proud to have this great honor! Last month we were Bronze Medalist at the Junior Pan American Games held in Monterrey, Mexico.

With this honor comes a lot of expenses.
We leave Sunday 7/14 - just 3 days away!

We have been completely self funded for our all competitions this season but expenses are very high and our team needs help.

These are some of our costs for the Worlds Competition:
Flight from Chicago to Moscow - $1240
Room and Board in Moscow - 613 Eu or $690 dollar
Total of $1,930 per gymnasts

Here is a bit more about us:

My name is Emily Wilson and am a 14 year old gymnasts who started rhythmic gymnastics at 4 years old.  Gymnastics is my life and I'm happy to be a part of it for such a long time.  I have been trained in New York City all the time until the summer of 2018 when we moved to Chicago to join 4 other girls to compete as Rhythmic Gymnastics Group Team.  My mom and I relocated to Chicago leaving my father and two brothers in New York City.  We rented an apartment and I became a home school student.  I began training at Vitrychenko Academy as a member of the FIG Junior Group. I am proud to be the National Team and represent USA at Jr. World Championship in Russia! You can follow me @emily.wilson.rg to see our progress this year.

My name is Remy Turner. I started gymnastics when I was 7 years old. Last summer I moved to Chicago and Vitrychenko Academy from Los Angeles to do Group and hopefully make it to the World Championships.  This year has been an amazing experience training with other gymnasts from around the country that have become my sisters.  I miss my family in Los Angeles very much but with sacrifice and super hard work I'm so proud to have gotten to this place in being on the National Team and representing USA in Russia!  I'm grateful to have been given this amazing opportunity. You can follow me @rhythmic_remy

My name is Tatyana Shilshtut.  I started gymnastics when I was 4.  I became part of the Junior Group in the hopes of going to the World Championships.  I'm grateful to go to Russian and show all the hard work that has gone into this season.

My name is Madeleine Avila.  I started gymnastics when I was 2.  I train at Vitrychenko Academy.  I'm beyond excited to have this opportunity to go to the World Championships as it is my last year as a junior.  Last year I was one place away from being on the National Team and this year I'm on the National Team for Group!

My name is Loraine Perez.  I started Rhythmic gymnastics when I was 8.  I became part of the Junior Group this year in the hopes of going to the World Championships in Moscow.  This included moving to Chicago from Boston.  We are so grateful for this opportunity and that we were chosen to go to Junior World Championships in Moscow!
