June Escapes Truck Crash

Donation protected
BREAKING: Injured chicken, June, escapes from trailer crash and avoids slaughterhouse death. After a trailer carrying thousands of chickens to slaughter crashed on DE-896 on the morning of June 6th, one chicken escaped the massacre and hid in a bush. Volunteers from Liberation Philadelphia, an animal rights organization, showed up to the site of the crash and found her hiding, badly injured. The activists took her to Mount Laurel Animal Hospital in New Jersey where she will receive care for her extensive injuries from the crash and her time in industrial farms. June was named after the main character in The Handmaid’s Tale who also fled captors by hiding amongst trees. We hope June will make a full recovery and be able to live out the rest of her days in peace in a sanctuary. We appreciate any and all help to pay for their vet bills, currently they are over $2,000. Until every animal is free we will fight, Liberation Philadelphia
