Help Jumpz gymnasts get to Florida for World Championships

Donation protected
Caitlin and Sophia have worked incredibly hard to qualify for the IAIGC World Championships in July 2024- this is a huge achievement for them! Jumpz Gymnastics Club is very proud of these fantastic gymnasts and all the hours they have put in since September to perfect their routines. This season they have competed in 3 mandatory local competitions on all four apparatus, gaining a challenging qualification score to advance to the next level of qualification. This brought them to the national stage, competing in a national qualifier and both achieving an even higher qualification score this time around! They are now eligible to compete in Orlando, Florida at the IAIGC World Championships and will both have the opportunity to compete all four apparatus at their respective levels as well as specialising their best events at a higher level! This is an amazing chance for them to compete against gymnasts from all over the world and make friends from different countries. This is a hugely exciting opportunity and we can’t wait to watch them represent both the UK and our club with pride!

Caitlin has been a gymnast at Jumpz Gymnastics Club since she was 8 years old and has recently returned to competitive gymnastics. Prior to Covid she had competed locally, Nationally and Internationally in Germany and twice in America where she reached the floor final in 2019 and came 9th which is an amazing achievement. Caitlin loves to perform and excels in her floor routine. She also specialised in the level above on floor and just missed out on a place in the final. The same year she was Gymnast of the Year. This year is her final year competing as a gymnast and the World Championships in Florida will be her last competition.

Sophia has been going to Jumpz Gymnastics Club since she was about 5 years old and now is 15 yrs old. Sophia entered the competition by doing the tumbling video and was successful to enter the USAIGC competitions for 2023.
Her first proper big competition for her was the USAIGC in March 2023, this was a big achievement for her to be performing in front of lots of people and judges and she did qualify for the one event go to Orlando.
This year she entered again and qualified for all around.
