Julie Coburn medical fund

Julie Coburn and her husband Bud have been married for 35 years now. Originally from Massachusetts, Bud and Julie relocated to Florida in 1999. They reside in Barefoot Bay, and are active members of the community. Bud and Julie also are proud of their 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren !!!  Bud has a long running relationship with the local tennis community, and although his cronological age says mid-sixties his tennis forehand feels more like a mid-twenties player. Bud also was the fastest roofer in the country for several years running. Fact, not fiction. He won several annual roofing contests. However the crowning achievement in Bud's life is his wife Julie. She is one of the most pleasant people you will ever meet, and she is always the most fun person at our yearly end of season tennis dinners. In short she's simply a wonderful woman. Sadly, Julie suffered a major stroke on tuesday the 13th of June. Complicating matters is the fact that her health insurance had just lapsed. With these events Julie and Bud find themselves in an uphill battle, and as is the case with strokes the timeline for Julie's recovery is a great unknown. That's the purpose of this donations page, set up by the friends and family of Julie Coburn. Whether you know Julie through her work in healthcare, or through the tennis community, or through the community of Barefoot bay we ask that you donate what you can to assist her in what has become her great uphill battle.
