Julie Botha Funeral Fund Help

Hello to our family and friends.

As you all may know, a very special, incredibly beautiful woman has sadly lost her battle with cancer.  Mom was diagnosed in October 2017 with aggressive small cell lung cancer, she was so strong throughout chemotherapy and was due to undergo radiotherapy this month (march). 

The last two weeks leading up to her passing, she suddenly became a lot more ill than we had realised and developed an infection which led to her immune system shutting down. Eventually we had to admit her into hospital where she passed peacefully on the 28th February at 15:20 surrounded by family. 

On this sudden passing, we were unable to set a funeral plan affordable enough and would've done so if we were aware of how soon she was going to pass as we'd heard from the doctors that the cancer had shrunk and she was on the mend. Unfortunatley this was not the case and the cancer had spread to her major organs in a matter of days. 

So basically, this fund is set up for family and friends if they'd like to help towards funeral costs, please dont feel obliged. The final expenses will be handled by her eldest daughter Carra-Anne. Our aim is to raise these funds before the funeral on the 21st of March, followed by a wake. Every bit of help is immensly appreciated.
