My beloved mother Judy Pedersen died unexpectedly Sunday, August 06, 2017, due to a gas leak in her home. The leak set off a fire that destroyed her home and all of her possessions and records, along with damaging or totalling 7 other units, and injuring two other people. While she succumbed to the fumes before the fire started, absolutely everything else is gone, from financial records to our childhood photos.
Due to the sudden and tragic nature of her passing, we have no idea what total costs will be. We're struggling now to even get hold of all of her proper paperwork. I wouldn't normally ask for assistance, but I anticipate this being a long, drawn out process, more than her passing otherwise would be.
We are planning to have funeral services at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, SLC, UT, next Wednesday, August 16th, from 6 pm-8 pm. All are welcome to attend. She specifically requested this place, and the staff has been wonderful in assisting. If you can, please help us give this wonderful lady the tribute she deserves. I am eternally grateful already from the outpouring of support we've received.
