Judi, you’ll get better soon, cause you have to
I’m fundraising for my mom Judi Smith, the most beautiful, strongest, caring person I know. My mom has always been such a strong, independent person who has always taken care of everyone in our family, and now it’s our turn to take care of her. On Thursday, April 8th, Judi went into cardiac arrest at work. Thankfully Deb, who is currently working at Belknap Dental but previously was an ICU nurse, performed CPR on Judi until EMTs arrived. She would be dead if it were not for Deb, Brenda, and the amazing crew at Belknap Dental. Judi has been fighting for her life in the critical care unit at Wentworth Douglas ever since. The nurses, doctors, and staff have been so incredible and we can’t wait for them to meet the real Judi, and for us to hear her belly laugh again. Right now she is opening and closing her eyes but is not responsive to commands. They are not sure about her brain function and the damage caused while she was gone for 30 minutes. We know she will pull through this, and we know she will come back to us. My mom would probably scold me if she knew I set this up, but the last thing she and my dad should worry about is medical bills.
You’ll get better soon, cause you have to.
