Judah’s Army

You never want to hear this from a friend…

I got a call today that I hoped I’d never get.

Judah escaped from school and got hit by a car.

He’s ok right now. He looks awful, but his scans so far are clear. He’s staying overnight in the hospital in order to check for any issues that may arise over the night. Luckily, Judah’s a tough, smart little guy … he bounced off the car and tucked and rolled. If he was an inch or two off he could have been run over and my precious guy wouldn’t be with me anymore.

I post this for two reasons… one… I want everyone to know who has heard about this through the grapevine that he’s ok. It could have been SO much worse.

And two… we have to do better in South Carolina protecting our special needs children. Lexington 2 is a good district and I trust they’re going to do everything they can to ensure that this doesn’t happen to him or any other child again.
