Just a couple of weeks ago, our good friend and colleague Juan Marquez was diagnosed with colon cancer. He suddenly and unexpectedly found himself scheduled for surgery, which is happening today, Monday 10/23. This comes just 2 months after finding out he and Heidi are pregnant with Juan's first child.
Many of Juan's friends and co-workers are looking for a way to support him and his family through his recovery. While we have amazing benefits through our employer, Juan will miss many weeks of work. As you can imagine, any loss of income has a huge impact on his family at this time as they prepare for their new baby and get ready for the holidays. I have established this Go Fund Me account to help Juan and his family through this tough time.
Juan has given so much to his community and country. He served 10 years in the Navy, and continues to volunteer in the community regularly. Whether it be providing meals to the homeless, volunteering with local non profits, or even donating money, Juan is always there to help those who need it.
