Bill Holena Memorial Fund

On Friday, February 5th, our community suffered a great loss.  William Holena passed away suddenly at the age of 43.  He was a loving husband to Tamara, incredible father to Victoria and Veronica, loyal friend and pillar of the community.  To know Bill was to truly love him.  He gave selflessly to so many in the community.  He was a member of Aetna Fire Department and served on the Board of Directors where is he raised hundreds of thousands of dollars and ran the weekly bingo.  He was a Mason and member of the New Castle Nur Shrine.  Bill also served on the board at Canal Little League for numerous years in various roles.  His favorite position by far was Coach. 

Anyone who knew Bill knew that all you needed to do was to imply you needed help and he was there.  Whether it was helping a non profit set up a Bingo or a Beef & Beer or helping get the field ready before a game, we all knew Bill would be there to help. 

We are setting up a Go Fund Me Memorial Fund to help Tamara and the kids with expenses that will arise over the next few weeks and months.  Bill was always there to help with so many of our causes and fundraising.  Its time to give back and help his family.
