Sharon Victoria Sheahan was born in Torrance, California on the 14th of October in 1954.
In 1972, she studied Art at the University of Bridgeport, and continued her studies in Stamford, CT where she received her Bachelor of Science in Applied Arts and Art History. Her journey as an artist began in 1979. Sharon loved taking in all the beauty around her. She gave so much of this beauty back in her pencil portraits & paintings.
For over 20 years, Sharon resided in Ridgefield CT, and was beloved my many at the Four Season Racquet Club and within the tri-state area tennis community.
As much as Sharon loved art, tennis, animals, nature and learning- her greatest love of all was for her family. Her heart filled with love for her daughter, Julia, son in law, Matthew, and her beautiful granddaughter Violet. Sharon was just elated to become a grandmother! She loved and cherished Violet with her whole heart. From the moment she became a grandmother, she wanted to love, nurture, and support Violet every step of the way as she grows, discovers and learns.
In Sharon’s memory, an education fund has been created for her granddaughter, Violet Donofree. Thank you to all who wish to contribute.
