This is from Jessica's husband, Matt Prebeg:  Life is fragile.  It is easy to forget that sometimes.  In an instant, it can change.  For Jessica Prebeg, 39, it became a reality in early November.  On a Thursday night she developed symptoms of a stroke and was quickly diagnosed with not only a stroke but a collapsed lung.  Without the knowledgeable effort provided by the community’s medical personnel and then the advanced care at the UW Health University Hospital, she likely would not have survived.  Five days later she is relatively stable but still in UW’s ICU with much yet unknown.  Jes is one of the most caring people, yet very reluctant to ask for help herself – her husband and two children can attest to it.  With an unforeseen amount of time yet expected at the UW hospital and then a long road of recovery, medical expenses will be substantial.  If you are wishing to express your support for Jes and her family, this Gofundme is just one method to do so.  Your thoughts and prayers are continually needed and so appreciated!  God Bless you!
