In November 2014 Rick was diagnosed for the second time in his life with testicular cancer, after surviving it once when he was 21, it came back with a vengeance. Rick and his wife Jackie live in Lowell Indiana with three beautiful children: Zack (15), Taylor (12) and Brooklyn (7 & Special Needs). Rick is only 38 years old and in a fight for his life. He is diagnosed with Stage IIII testicular cancer and it has now spread to his colon. Rick is the sole provider for his family as a union insulator (Local 17) but due to his declining health he has not been able to work. They are in danger of losing everything they have. The only doctors able to treat Rick's rare case are in Indianapolis so this means frequent trips which has also been costly. They are trying to remain optimistic that he will pull through but the financial strain is overwhelming.
