Decidí hacer esta campaña, aunque me costó tomar la decisión, porque las circunstancias nos sobrellevaron. La campaña es para mi esposo Lucius Daniel, profesor universitario de la UCV desde hace más de 25 años. Fue profesor, coordinador académico y director de Escuela, siempre haciendo todo lo que estuviera en sus manos para ayudar a los estudiantes, profesores, obreros, administrativos o cualquier persona que requiriera su ayuda.
Hoy me toca buscar ayuda para él. Hace dos días, tuvo que operarse de emergencia, el seguro con el que contamos los profesores universitarios Samhoi no lo aceptan en la clínica (única donde podía operarse por ser especialista en el área, a parte no cubriría los gastos) y el monto resulta impagable debido a la hiperinflación de nuestro país. Ya lo operaron y gracias a Dios está bien, pero ahora hay cuentas y compromisos que debemos honrar. Agradezco su tiempo por leernos y su colaboración.

It was a tough decision to decide to start this campaign due to the circumstances. The campaign is to collect funds for my husband, Lucius Daniel, a university professor at Universidad Central de Venezuela for more than 25 years. Apart from teaching, he was also the Academic Coordinator and the Director of the School of Modern Languages. Lucius would do whatever he could to help his students, professors, workers, employees, o anyone who needed his help. Now it's time for us to help him out. Last Friday, Lucius had to undergo surgery. The university's insurance, Samhoi, was not accepted by the clinic (the only specialized clinic and even if it were accepted, it would not cover the costs of the operation) and the costs are simply unpayable due to the hyperinflationary process in the country. He is currently recovering from the operation. However, we are left with bills and commitments that we need to meet. Thanks for reading this and for your help.
