My name is Patricia Rodriguez I am currently 26 years old and I reside in Camden NJ. Starting from my childhood I developed a passion for hair styling. I used to practice on my dolls until the age of 12 when I started doing family and friends. My gift and talent helped fund my way through high school and college. After graduating with a Sociology degree in 2014 from Stockton University with thousands of dollars in debt, I am unable to request a loan to cover Cosmetology School. I do not qualify for financial aid because I have a bachelors degree and this is considered a trade. I have visited two schools and they have tried their best to help me and it has been impossible so I have to cover this out of my own pockets. In order for me to advance in this field, I MUST possess a Cosmetology license. Regardless of the donation amount, it will aid as a blessing in achieving my dreams & be a tool for my success as well as my family. I have already spoken into existence that I plan on opening up my own Salon within the next 5 years and this is the FIRST and most important stepping stone in getting there.
