Funeral Expenses

Hi, my name is Monica Jones. I am the mother of Kordell Jones who was shot and killed by the Mobile Police Department on March 7, 2023. I have an insurance policy for my son, however, the policy is short of the 2 year maturity date. This made the policy contestable. The wonderful mortuary that my son is entrusted to was just made aware that the policy is contestable. I am trying to raise the funds to bury my son. We have until 12 p.m. tomorrow 3-16-2023 to meet the total of $15,617.17 for his homegoing services. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. This has been a devastating loss for my family. We appreciate the acts of kindness that we have been receiving. Update as of 3-16-23 12:30 p.m.: The deadline has passed for me to keep the services scheduled for 3-17-23 so unfortunately I have to postpone. I am still raising funds to reschedule the services in case the insurance company denies the claim. Many thanks to those that have donated and to those that may in the upcoming days.
