In memory of Matthew Barwick (6 September 1973 – 7 November 2017) whose life was unexpectedly lost to his friends and loved ones. The spirit of this message is to lend tangible support to Matthew’s family whose lives have painfully and permanently shifted.
Matthew is the loving and dedicated father to Leo and Noah Barwick and, the loving and supportive husband to Yoshii Barwick. He is also the much cherished and deeply loved son of Sandy Mackenzie and Wayne Barwick and, the loyal brother to the late Seth Barwick.
As a Darlinghurst Primary School parent and friend, I have elected to set up this campaign to assist the Barwick family with any unforeseen costs at this extremely difficult time. It is also a gesture of heartfelt thanks to all the Barwicks for sharing a beautiful gift of life for whom we are very grateful. Memories of Matthew will forever be kept alive, especially through his two precious boys, Leo and Noah. All of your generous donations will be accessible only by Mathew’s spouse, Yoshii, who is the beneficiary of this campaign.
In this moment of profound shock and grief, I hope that we can all come together as a community to help ease the sadness, pain and burden, even if just momentarily.
