Send Aryan and Aarav from Junior Nepal Tennis Team to compete in Asian Championship, Kazakhstan
It was the mother of all upsets when unseeded 12 & Under Nepalese Tennis Team (Aryan Giri, Aarav Samrat Hada and Aki Zuben Rawat and the National Coach Krishna Raj Ghale) took on Seeded 1 India and managed to pull off a win. This upset was caused by valiant Nepalese junior players despite the frugal infrastructure and training available in Nepal. There are only six unlit clay courts of poor quality in Nepal, making it impossible to practice during rain and in the evenings after school. This is exacerbated by the quality of training available in Nepal. Considering such hurdles the upset over No. 1 India can be considered nothing less than phenomenal and that the Nepali boys are of dynamite caliber. The case for the two boys are even more appealing considering the fact that Aarav is a 10 year old boy fought head on against the 12 year olds from India and Aryan is a 75% burn survivor at an age of 3 who has been fighting relentlessly with his complex medical conditions.
This is also perhaps the first time ever that small children as young and 10 and 12 have achieved so much athletically for Nepal. We do not recall any other sport in Nepal which has been able to do this. And now the boys are headed to Kazakhstan for the Asian level meet representing South Asia. But the odds are stacked higher considering tennis giants such as Korea, Japan, China, Syria, etc etc. Tennis being an individual sport, the parents have relentlessly walked alongside the boys on and off court, including picking up balls to compensate the loss of playing time and ball affordability. To overcome the odds they will need every support and help from everyone, starting with the parents, coaches, and friends, They need help with just about everything to make this happen- higher and intense level training and matches round the clock, availability of equipment and courts, financial help, flexibility with school hours, and a whole lot of love, and encouragement from all Nepalis.
Through Go Fund Me we hope to achieve one of the critical supports necessary for the team - financing their training and travel costs. Although the parents of the Nepali Team have in the past and will continue to support the young athletes to the last breath, a little financial help from interested individuals would go a long way towards their intense training needs at home and abroad for the next six months in preparation for the Asian level U-12 Meet in Kazakhstan. The children and the dedicated parents will continue to wake up every morning at 5:00 am for training, ensure their lunch is ready, put them to school, pack their tennis gear and snacks before hitting the courts again for the late afternoon session directly from the school, take them home for shower and assist in home work assignments, ensure a nutritious night meal, and timely get them to bed, only to start the next day all over again. This will be carried out for the next six months and probably more intense trainings needed when abroad. And this is all to prove their worth and to fight for the flag's worth.
If anybody wants to bring about positive changes in our country it can start here. The team requests private corporations, families and friends to help this team achieve even higher feats. Please help Aryan Giri and Aarav Samrat Hada achieve greater heights for Nepal Tennis.
I'm starting this campaign to help Aryan Giri and Aarav Hada reach their training goals to get to Kazaksthan.
I'm actually based here in San Jose, USA. I've known both Aryan Giri and Aarav Hada while they were training here in Dallas Texas. I've known their fathers Sunit Giri and Jayjeev Hada for a long time and are friends with me, since my time back in Nepal, which is also where I hail from.
The families are aware and supportive of this effort to raise funds for Aryan and Aarav. The funds will go directly towards training for them here in the US, India and in Europe. Training facilities are rudimentary in Nepal. The funds, if enough is raised, will also go towards airfare directly to/from the training centers and towards the final destination in Kazaksthan.
After working with the parents, here's the breakdown of what it would take to train these young men to the tournaments in India to be selected to go to Kazaksthan.
This goes to show that we're only trying to raise enough to directly support Aarav and Aryan's costs only.
The funds will be distributed directly to Sunit Giri and Jayjeev Hada via Bank Transfer.

I have personally known Aarav Hada and Aryan Giri since they trained at my tennis academy (NVK) at Hyderabad India in January 2015. I coached them on a one on one basis as well as evaluated their performance in a group. Aarav of 8 years and Aryan of 10 years then showed immense culture of hard work and talent at such tender age. Withstanding the physical fitness challenges posed on bigger academy players as well as getting grilled in the scorching South Indian heat, the boys showed much tenacity in their desire to stay inside the courts to learn and become better players. At the current rate, I have no doubt they will become as great as some of the junior Indian players I have coached in my life time. I wish and pray for the very best for Aarav and Aryan.

Aarav Samrat Hada and Aryan Giri are two boys I have trained since their very junior days through the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Junior Tennis Initiative (JTI) Program here in Nepal. I am the Country Coordinator for the program and I have watched how they progressed from one skill level bracket to the other in considerable shorter time compared to many other junior players of their age. As a result they have become one of the most tennis loving, hard working, and talented kids in the country. As their private individual coach, and the national coach for many age categories including the most recent ITF Asian 12 & Under Championship, I can say that their skill levels were put to test and they persevered in the best of ways possible, beating the top seeded countries India and Sri Lanka. I will continue to coach them through the finals event at Kazakhstan and can assure you that these boys - if provided the opportunity, will bring out the best in them. This event is very significant considering the impact it could have for the future development of Tennis in Nepal. I too am contributing towards this objective in the best of my abilities with the available minimal infrastructure here in Nepal. From my assessment, the way these two are pursuing their path, I am certain they will be able to accomplish their dreams.
