Period Poverty
Donation protected
Every woman has a period yet some are made to feel embarrassed about it. Why? Simply because they don’t have the menstrual items they need to discreetly continue with their day. Many teenagers across the world skip days of school or work as their families cannot provide sanitary towels and such. Many girls and young women are therefore missing days from vital education, and some even miss important exams because of something natural which they have once a month.
I would like to collect enough money to supply at least 30 girls in Gulu (North Uganda) some sustainable and washable period underwear in this first charity collection. I am asking for donations so I can buy at least sixty (60) sanitary underwear, two (2) for each girl.
If you would like to buy and donate the underwear you can email me. Or donate on this page. Any amount will help.
Thank You in advance.
