Help Macho

Hi everyone,

I am raising funds to help my friends Roger and Maureen and their beloved dog Macho.

Macho has not had a great life. He came to shelter and spent over a year with us, which is a long time for a dog to live in a shelter. I fell in love and worked to help find him a new home. He finally found his perfect home, and during his first weeks there he was attacked by a neighborhood dog and badly injured.

He recovered from that and now has an unknown illness that has caused his blood platelets to be non-existent. This is a serious illness and Roger and Maureen are doing everything they can to care for him, ultrasounds, specialists, vet emergency visits etc. As you can imagine, all of this has been very expensive for them.

In speaking with them they are less concerned with the cost and more concerned with the health of their beloved Macho, but I would like to help them defray some of the costs so they can concentrate on Macho. They have already incurred over $4000 in expenses and they still don't know what is wrong.

Will you consider making a donation in Macho's name? I would be most grateful. He deserves to finally have a happy and healthy life, wouldn't you agree? Look at that face!
