Lilly needs help with mouth cancer

This is my sweet little girl Lilly. She came into my life after my first pet dog died. I received Lilly from a friend of friend who is a veterinarian and told me that Lilly was brought into the vet to be killed by the ex husband to get back at the ex wife. Lilly can be very timid but once she gets to know you she becomes a chatter box! She loves to talk to anybody that she trusts and eat as many treats as you give her. A few months ago I saw what looked to be like a small scar on her lip but when I pried her mouth open one day I saw a huge mass in her mouth. I took her to the vet and they ran many tests and finally concluded that it is cancer. A few weeks ago the cancer had not spread but when I came back from Christmas with family I have realized that it is spreading. I love this little dear creature with all my heart and I don't want to give up on her when she is still active, talking up a storm, eating well, and purring every time she sees me. Please help me keep Lilly with me as long as possible as long as she is happy to be here. There are 2 radiation she can receive: 1) a 5 dose treatment that will stop the spreading as much as it can and keep Lilly comfortable this costs around $1,000 to $2,000. 2) a 20 dose treatment that takes a month to complete but will completely get rid of the cancer which is $7,000.
