Tara's Journey
In December 2014, my sister Tara was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. This diagnosis has been life changing in just a matter of weeks. Everything has happened so quickly from the biospy to the test results to now surgery.
Her surgery was on January 5th and she is doing well. However, she is waiting for additional test results to see what stage she has and whether it has spread. She also has weeks of treatment in the near future including radiation and chemotherapy which also means she has had to step aside from work. This is diffficult not only financially, but also mentally as she is a hard worker and loves to stay busy, hunt with her husband and family, and play with her dogs. Her life-dream of a career in veterinary medicine is on hold while she focuses on this challenge, which she is sure to overcome.
Your prayers, thoughts, and support can help with the mental challenges they face, but we are asking for your financial support to assist Tara and her family, with medical and living expenses as they will be relying on her husband's income for a bit while she fights this battle.
This was unexpected for her, for everyone, and no one wishes to undergo this. However, we know she is STRONG and COURAGEOUS. We know she can fight this battle and fight it well.
