Missions Trip to Cambodia

Hey everyone!
I am currently planning a trip alongside others from my Church located in Vancouver, BC. The church is Tenth Avenue Alliance.
They have extensive partnerships in Asia and specifically Cambodia, having committed to 15 years of missions trips there.
I have a soft spot for vulnerable people in society, especially those with no voice, such as children. My specific goal is to work in Cambodia, eventually different places in Asia, where children are bought and sold as slaves and frequently sold for sexual slavery.
These children and their parents are often times unaware that they are selling them into sexual slavery and as they are poor they will do almost anything for money.
I am working toward this financial goal to help me fund the flights and accomodation and expenses while away. I will not be getting paid and I'll be there as a volunteer, and, these funds will not be for personal gain in any way. Anything extra and not needed will be donated at the end of the trip to a charitable organization.
This trip is a networking trip to get to know people there, meet some locals and some people working there as well as educating myself on how everything works over there so I can better serve the kids.
By helping me to fundraise you are helping me to travel overseas and begin the process of a journey which will result in children being rescued from sexual slavery.
