My Beautiful Jessica's Funeral

We little knew that morning God was to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you,You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again.

This sentiment expresses the family feeling as we mourn the death of our beautiful Jessica. We were not prepared emotionally or financially for this tragedy.
Jessica Michelle Corbett at 20 years old was a bright and cheery young lady that anyone would be proud to call her their daughter, family or their friend. We would love to have her presence here with us always so we could forever wrap our loving arms around her. But God had another plan – a special purpose for our angel, Jessica.
As we placed Jessica's presents under the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve, we received notice that Jessica died in a horrific automobile accident 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, along the westbound lanes of Highway 91 east of Mission Inn Avenue, just a few blocks from the city's Festival of Lights. The festival of lights truly represented Jessica’s life, her spirit and the joy she lavished on those around her.
Our world stood still and what would have been a time of celebration and joy turned into a time of weeping, sorrow and pain. As a mother, brother, and grandmother, our family was not prepared to bury our child.
We as a family were not financially prepared to bury our angel, Jessica. So we are so graciously asking for ANY donation to help cover the expenses of her funeral.
The loving person she was, Jessica would never hesitate to kiss her grandmother and hug her and say, “I love and appreciate you.” Jessica, I love you and miss you dearly.
