A Philippine Family in Need

Hi, my name is Amber. The person I am raising funds for is a colleague of mine. His name is Wency and is 27 years old from the Philippines. As most of you know, the Philippines just got hit by a typhoon. A typhoon is a giant, rotating storm that brings wind, rain, and destruction. Wency is a son, brother, and uncle who supports his extended family with only his source of income.

In the aftermath of the devastating typhoon that struck his community, I am reaching out to you for support in him and his family’s journey to rebuild and recover. He has lost everything they had, and are still struggling to find a safe place to call home. Their lives have been forever changed, and he is in direct need of assistance to help him get back on his feet.

He and his family managed to put a temporary roof over their heads in the mean time. However, the scale of the disaster requires additional resources beyond themselves. That's why I’ve decided to create this GoFundMe campaign—to ask for your help and generosity.
