Joy & Ty Race for Cancer Research
Tax deductible
Over Xmas break I was approached by one of my student-athletes about running the NYC half marathon for a cause... She knew I'd done the full marathon last November and figured it would be right up my alley.
She wasn't wrong. I enjoy running for leisure and it gives me even more satisfaction when I can give back to a cause.
This March my boyfriend Tyler (yes I roped in the unsuspecting poor sap) and I will be running in support of the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research with a mission to raise 2,500.00. The cause was introduced to us by a former NYU classmate and it resonated strongly with both of us.
If you can, give a $1 or $10, we appreciate anything and thank you in advance for your charity towards this worthy cause!
