Benefit Joy Roquet
Those of you who know Joy know that the last couple of years have been tough. From multiple hospital stays, a heart attack, and in recent months she has been saddled with severe unexplained pain. While we finally have answers, it’s not the one we were hoping for.
Joy has been recently diagnosed with stage four adenocarcinoma, which has spread to her spine. This is the cause of her severe pain and limiting her mobility. On Saturday, September 26, at 5 PM, there will be a benefit dinner at Lake Waynoka held at the Little Turtle Pavilion. Dinner is $10 per plate, which includes dinner, dessert, and a drink. This is an open pass event, which means, when you stop at the guard shack, tell them you are there for the Joy Roquet benefit.
For those of you who are unable to attend but would still like to donate, we have set up a Go Fund Me. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated to go toward medical expenses as Joy navigates this terrible disease.
