Jost Van Dyke, Irma Assistance

Hi, My name is Isah Chinnery, an Artist from Jost Van Dyke, BVI. On September 6th, 2017 Hurricane Irma visited us here in the Virgin Islands and left us devastated. Though we have survived many hurricanes in the past, our little island, Jost Van Dyke, did not fare well this time around. Everyone on Jost Van Dyke has lost most of or all of their home. Our friends have been asking in what ways they can assist. Sending food and water is awesome and will help to sustain our small population of about 300 for a little while, but the real project will be rebuilding... We recieved severe damages to our roof, with half of it being blown away, and much damage to the interior due to flooding. If you would like to and is able assist my Father Isha W. Chinnery, my Brother Shomari Chinnery and I, in anyway with our efforts to rebuild, feel free to do so here. Your donations will be put towards purchasing building supplies for rebuilding our home. Any extra will be put towards assisting anyone else on Jost that needs assistance with rebuilding. We appreciate any form of support and hope to see you on Jost once we've fully recovered.
