Join Josi's fight against cancer

Josi Landen, as some of you may know, was recently diagnosed with stage 3C Invasive Tubular Carcinoma which is a form of breast cancer. Since receiving this diagnosis she has had a mastectomy on her left breast and will be starting her journey with chemotherapy and radiation. During her surgery 30 lymph nodes were removed, 20 of which were positive for cancer. At this moment Josi is cancer free but she has a long road ahead of her.
Josi has been a core member of the Bennett Valley community for nearly 30 years. She was head of special events for the Bennett Valley Elementary School Alliance of Parents and Teachers for many years during which she organized several events for students, teachers and parents alike. Anyone who knows Josi knows that she is a friend to all and has been a parent to many over the years. Her loyalty and love of her community shines through everything she does.
She has worked tirelessly as a waitress, bartender and retailer in many local family businesses and restaurants around Sonoma County in order to support herself and her three kids. Josi has helped and supported many in our community and now she needs our help to get through this challenging time. She is a warrior with a lot of spirit and she will not go down without a fight but the challenge of fighting breast cancer is a huge emotional and financial burden.
This is why we are reaching out to our amazing community to ask for your help as we raise funds to help Josi fight breast cancer. We know that you are an amazing and supportive network and we are calling on your help to ease the challenges as Josi goes through chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
