Josh Granada is a 10 year veteran of the Orlando Fire Department. He is the 2017 Florida Firefighter of the Year. He was one of the first paramedics on scene of the Pulse Shooting.
Since the events at the Pulse Night Club, Granada has been suffering from the emotional stress associated with helping the victims of the shooting. He has repeatedly sought treatment for PTSD from the Fire Department, only to be denied. Instead of assisting Granada with treatment, the Orlando Fire Department continued to expose him to emotional trauma.
Josh was fired from the Fire Department for allegedly breaking a Department rule. His termination was, in fact, retaliation for seeking treatment for PTSD.
Please help Josh and his family during this time of need as he fights for his job back.
