On May 30th, 2014, while working to provide for his family, my husband, father of our 4 young children (Madelyn 10, Abigail 8, Joshua 6 and Delilah 5) and his three older children (Brittany 21, Jason 20, Megan 18) was tragically killed in a work place accident. Josh was a loving husband and father. He loved his family, the outdoors and animals of every kind...even the scaly kind! One of his favorite places included Sedgwick County Zoo or a park of any kind.
While my biggest concern right now is comforting our children and dealing with our grief, there are also the practical and financial issues to deal with. This fund will help to pay to lay Josh to rest and pay the day to day expenses of life for our family. Josh was just back to work 2 weeks after being unemployed for an extended period. We have no insurance for these expenses.
I have great joy knowing that Josh was excited to be back to work and provide for us during his last weeks on this earth. I take great comfort in knowing that he is now in the comfort of our Lord.
