Josh is a lot of things to a lot of people...son, husband, father, uncle, brother and the list goes on. In April, Josh went to the hospital  with several symptoms of cardiac trouble. He was admitted to the Red Deer Hospital where they discovered he had an aortic aneurysm and enlarged heart. After waiting in RD for several days, he was transferred to the UofA in Edmonton. There, they discovered he was missing a heart valve as well and would need open heart surgery to fix the problems as well as give him a new mechanical valve. Josh had his surgery yesterday, May 7th and is currently recovering in Edmonton. He is expected to be off of work for quite some time. He and his wife Amanda have three kids to take care of and a lot of expenses have piled up with the travel back and forth from Red Deer to Edmonton, as well as the time off work for both of them. Amanda is continuing to work as much as she can to make ends meet. This family could really benefit with some assistance to ease some of the financial pressure during this long recovery process!
