Josh & Tina Maltsberger

My name is Kari I’m from anacortes, wa.  I’ve been a long time friend of Josh and Tina’s. On August 6th 2018 Joanna was born to two very wonderful loving parents Tina and Josh Maltsberger and big brother Sammy. Her name is Joanna Joy. When she was two weeks old she was life flighted to children’s hospital she was in heart failure. After days of tests the doctors concluded she had enterovirus miocarditus. She spent three weeks in the hospital but recovered enough to go home. They later found out she has hearing loss and will need hearing aids. Just recently they found out she had a leak caused by a vsd she was born with. This last week she had heart surgery to close the hole and repair her triscuptic valve. This little girl is a fighter.
