Joseph “Joey” Nero Support Fund

Do you have someone you always wanted to be like when you grew up?  A celebrity, a professional sports star?  Not me... for me it was this guy.  My cousin Joe is the guy I looked at when I was younger and thought to myself... “I’m going to be just like him.”  He has been a successful and respected Sales Executive with iHeartMedia for his entire career.  When he walks into a room he has a presence of power, sophistication and influence.  He could write the book on sales and if anyone asked me who I strived to be like as a Salesperson it always was and still is Joey Nero.  When you talk to him you know you are working with a genuine heart who always wants to win!  He is a loving and loyal husband, father, friend and confidante.  He is known and loved by so many and I am only one of many who admire him.

Back in April Joe was admitted to the ICU and has been there ever since.  His organs have been shutting down.  He is on dialysis, he is on and off a ventilator, he has had multiple surgeries, and numerous infections.  By the grace of God he does not have COVID, he does not have cancer.  His tests, labs and procedures have been reviewed by the Cleveland Clinic and even Johns Hopkins and there are no answers.  Nobody can explain what is happening to him.

He has been through all of this alone with only a few visits from his wife Laura and siblings Ann Marie, Anthony and Carla as COVID has forced them to support from a distance.  He has two children Chris and Lexie who need their Dad.  He is unable to work and he needs our support.

Joe has deeply touched the hearts of so many.   The road ahead is long and the most discouraging part is it is unclear because there are no answers.  Please help support Joe and his family Laura, Lexie and Chris during this uncertain time so that their energy can be focused on his healing.
