Joseph Lee's Medical treatments

Dear friends,

As most of you know Joseph Lee continues to undergo Chemotherapy and stem cell therapy for a rare form of cancer called CTCL (cutaneous T-cell lymphoma) which has now spread to other parts of his body.

We are sorry to report that this weekend (March 30th, 2018) Joseph's health took a downwards turn and he has been moved to the ICU for complications from pneumonia and an infection in his lungs.

We have booked a last minute flight for Joseph's mother and friend Justin to be with him during this critical time.

Hope is not lost! Joseph remains defiant. He still has songs to write and stories to tell.

An exhaustive search of his family and friends has found a stem cell match with his brother, Sinclair, who lives on the island of Montserrat. This procedure (Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant) is a cutting edge medical treatment that has seen fantastic results throughout Europe. The team of doctors that have been treating Joe for the last several years believe this is the best chance for recovery from this difficult disease.

Sinclair lives a simple farmers life in Montserrat and we now need funds to help him fly to Munster and undergo the transplant procedure to help reinforce and rebuild Joseph's depleted immune system.  

 We have created this crowdfunding campaign to help Joe with the following:

-His Mother’s flight and accommodations to help get Joe healthy enough for the transplant.

-His brother (the stem cell donor) Sinclair’s flights to Germany and accommodations while he recovers from the procedure.

-Continued help with Joseph's basic needs-  the meager disability payments are not sufficient to cover his monthly expenses.

 As of 4/13/18: I, Tom Sexton, will begin withdrawing funds from this campaign to my American bank account so that money can be transfered to Joseph overseas via paypal, as well as flight reimbursement for Justin and Lucille to their accounts and the other expenses discussed above.
