Joseenmanuel Saturno's Leukemia Fight

My Venezuelan childhood friend Joseenmanuel and brother in God, at the young age of 45, has been diagnosed with an acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL). He had not been feeling well for sometime which led him to see a doctor. He did some tests and his blood platelets were low. He started to get tested week by week and his blood platelets were getting less by each test. The doctor decided to test for leukemia and the results came back as positive. This has been devastating for him and his beautiful family. I can't even imagine their suffering at this moment.

On May 20th 2021 Joseenmanuel had his first treatment of chemotherapy at Clinica Orinoco of Bolivar Venezuela of his five week treatment. He needs to be hospitalized for the next three weeks to be able to combat this aggressive cancer.

Knowing the current situation in Venezuela and knowing how difficult it has to be for my friend and his family in these moments I decided to take a leap of faith...create this heart felt cause and send it to all my friends and beyond. The current estimate of beginning expenses is $38,000.

I'll keep everyone updated on his progress and I'm praying that this aggressive cancer will go into remission after treatment.
