On Monday, May 28, 2018 Memorial Day at 6:54pm tragedy struck The Martinez Maldonado Family when 47 yr old Father and Husband JOSE FABIAN MARTINEZ,
unexpectedly passed away, due to a pulmonary embolism.  He stopped breathing  after losing a battle from TERMINAL LUNG CANCER STAGE IV, for two years.
Jose Fabian is leaving behind a loving and caring family; having been a wonderful husband to my sister Mireya and an amazing father to 10 yr old Fabian Junior and 25 yr old Mireyita, who has Cerebral Palsy, and Intellectual Disabilities.
Jose Fabian was a very kind and generous person, who touched the lives of those around him, with his smile and eagerness to help others. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family from taking little Fabian to his baseball games, practices, and teaching him how to catch the ball. He took his daughter, Mireyita to ALL of her Special Olympics events.  Jose Fabian and Mireya were able to put Mireyita through all of her Special Education beginning when she was 5 yrs old in the state of Florida, and after they moved to Austin Texas they continued with her education, until she graduated from High School. Mireyita has always needed and will continue to be in need of 24 hours care, medications and treatment for the rest of her life. Jose Fabian ALWAYS worked hard to support and provide for his family. He would not hesitate to help his friends when in need. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him and specially  missed by the loved ones he has left behind.
His family is facing a tragic situation... having to move out of their current home they’re renting by the end of this month on (JUNE 30th). Before his passing, Jose Fabian started the construction of a small house in the outskirts of Lockhart, TX for his family a few months ago, but since the doctors told him that the Cancer was spreading throughout his organs, he became  EXTREMELY weak. He had to stop working and he was only able to finish paying for the construction of their future’s home foundation. The County only gave the family 6 months to finish the construction. Since Jose Fabian passed, the likelihood of the construction will not be able to be accomplished. Therefore, we have created this Memorial Fund to finish the construction of the family’s house, the money will be going directly to Mireya, his wife to help pay for the unexpected final expenses, the rent/deposit of a new apartment, past due utilities, medications, diapers for Mireyita, who is also in need of a wheelchair, as well as, the family’s van that needs mechanical repairs up to a thousand dollars. My sister Mireya the mother of his children has Diabetes, Degenerative Reumatoid Arthritis’s and Pheripheral Vascular Deficiency’s to the point that she almost had both of her legs amputated not long ago. She had to put aside her medical conditions to become a full time caregiver for her husband, Jose Fabian, who needed long term treatment, and hospice care at home until the end. This was in addition  to being the primary care giver to her special needs daughter.  This family is going through a tremendous financial hardship, facing a harsh reality now that Jose Fabian will not longer take care and provide for them. He was the SOLE provider for his family. This Memorial Fund will make it possible to help and aleviate his family with their immediate needs. It will also support his children who are the living legacy Jose Fabian Martinez has left behind. Our family DEEPLY thanks you for your generosity and support for my sister Mireya and her children. We will miss Jose Fabian dearly, he was wonderful person with an amazing and generous heart.

May God bless you a thousand times.
