Jorge and his family need your help...
Jorge suffered a stroke while eating breakfast with his wife before church on Sunday morning. Luckily, his wife quickly noticed his sudden change in behavior and reacted quickly. Jorge was disoriented and would not speak.
Jorge's wife immediately asked for help at their usual Sunday morning restaurant and called 9-1-1. The ambulance arrived five minutes later and during those five minutes, his wife received instructions on what to do in the meantime.
As he arrived to the hospital, Jorge was given a medication and underwent a procedure that not many qualify for. It is a medication that "reverses" a stroke and a procedure that removes blood clots.
Jorge's family was informed that the underlying cause of the stroke was due to excessive neck popping, which led to the rupturing of his carotid artery, and that resulted in a couple blood clots in his brain.
As I write this, Jorge is still in the hospital, where nearly a week has gone by. A few complications have arose, but his family and friends have faith he will make a great comeback because he is a fighter.
Jorge has always had a big, caring, and loving heart. Always put others before himself and gives more than what he receives.

Jorge sufrió una embolia mientras almorzaba con su esposa antes del servicio de la iglesia el domingo en la mañana. Lo bueno fue que su esposa rápidamente reaccionó y notó el cambio de actitud en Jorge; porque se encontraba desorientado y no hablaba.
Imidiatamente su esposa pidió primeros auxilios en el restaurante donde estaban y de pronto marco al 9-1-1. La ambulancia llegó cinco minutos después y durante esos cinco minutos, su esposa recibió instrucciones en que hacer mientras llegaban.
Cuando llego al hospital, Jorge fue dado una medicación y pasó por un procedimiento que no muchos califican. Es una medicina que “desase” la embolia y el procedimiento es para remover coágulos.
La familia de Jorge fue informada que lo que causó la embolia fue por el exceso de tronados de cuello. Esto causo que se rompiera la arteria principal del cuello y de ahí resultó en coágulos en el cerebro.
Mientras escribo esto, Jorge sigue en el hospital, donde casi ha pasado una semana. Habido pocas complicaciones que han salido, pero su familia y amigos tienen fe que el va salir de esto porque es un guerrero.
Jorge siempre ha tenido un gran corazón lleno de amor y cariño para los demás y siempre ha puesto a otros adenlante y primero que el. Jorge siempre ha dado más de lo que recibe.

Como muchos pueden saber, la atención médica con o sin aseguró es demasiado costosa. Entonces, ya se han de imaginar el impacto financiero que esto le está y les va causar a la familia de Jorge por la circunstancia en la cual se encuentran.
