Hi everyone,


So as many of you may know, I officially started my transition last July. The road has not been an easy one, but it has been one that is definitely worth it. Growing up, I always felt different and never felt comfortable or secure enough to express myself in the way that mirrored the way I felt on the inside. Over the last few years I’ve learned that it is okay to be different because it’s those differences that make us uniquely beautiful. I cannot take full credit over the confidence I’ve developed in myself; the love and support that I’ve received from family and friends played a major role in that. I finally feel free, liberated and happy as I start to become the person I’ve always knew I was.

The next step in continuing on this path of happiness and my transition is top surgery (if you want to learn more about it, I can provide some links below!) I had my initial consultation back in December, and the cost of the procedure is going to be $7500. Unfortunately, I will have to pay the total cost out of pocket as it will not be able to be covered by my insurance. I’m hoping this fundraiser will take some of the financial load off of my back, considering the fact I am just another broke college student trying to find their way. Thanks for the support!
