Jordan Parkey Recovery

Hi, my name is Perry Parkey and I am fundraising for my son, Jordan Parkey. Jordan is 18 years old and is an avid skateboarder. On 3/27/2023 I received a phone call from Northeast Georgia Medical Center stating that Jordan had been brought in by EMS after being struck by a car in a crosswalk. Jordan received multiple injuries including a broken leg, brain damage, and multiple fractures to his face and skull. They were able to stabilize him and instructed me that they would be life flighting him to their Gainesville campus. Jordan was taken straight to the OR where his left leg was flushed and an external fixator was installed. He was then moved to the STICU where he is currently placed awaiting the next steps which will include surgery on his leg with installation of rods and pins, brain surgery, and plastic surgery to repair multiple fractures to his face. Jordan will remain here for the next few weeks to receive treatment and will require extensive therapy on his road to recovery. All donations will go towards covering costs of treatment and to help him get on his feet afterwards.
