My brothers wife Jessica recently fell extremely ill, she was misdiagnosed with Chrones Disease over the past summer. On a trip to visit family in El Salvador for the girls Thanksgiving break her health took a scary turn. She was hospitalized in ICU and was finally given a diagnosis of Lupus. After spending 4 weeks in a hospital in El Salvador Benjamin was able to get the US Embassy to arrange a medical flight back to the states but they could only get her to Fort Lauderdale, Fl. They live in El Paso, TX. For the foreseeable furture his whole family is displaced and will be spending Christmas in a hotel room & ICU waiting area. Her medical bills are mounting on top of travel & living expenses away from home with two small girls this is becoming more than the family can handle financially. Jessica has been unable to work since the summer & Benjamin has not worked since December 4th when he flew to El Salvador to be by his wife's side. At this point Jessica has a long road to recovery & normalcy. My goal is to help relieve them of the worry of the financial burden so that they can focus on getting Jessica the treatment she needs. Benjamin is US Army veteran who served during Operation Enduring Freedom & continues to serve our country in the US Army Reserves. He is a stubborn & proud man who has always provided for his family if you can please help during this time of need.
